Enjoying working with teams to tackle meaningful problems while digging for insights to validate design decisions
Design
Given my educational background in Architecture and Mechanical Engineering, I have theoretical and practical knowledge in product development and design. I have lead projects developing medical devices from ideation to market release while adhering to FDA strict regulatory guidelines.
During this experience I honed my abilities in SolidWorks, nPower Surfacing, 3DCS Tolerance Analysis, and Rapid Prototyping.
Purpose
I have worked on projects in the medical, environmental, and financial industries. I'm passionate about impactful and meaningful projects that generate societal benefits. Technology holds immense potential, and I'm committed to being part of that positive change
For my master's project, my team collaborated with Airborne Snow Observatory Inc. We aimed to develop a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model to streamline their data cleaning process. This project allowed me to hone my skills in Python, scikit-learn, image processing, and statistical analysis.
Data
Beyond engineering and design I'm also interested in financial markets. In my free time I enjoy conducting financial analysis with the goal to develop strategies for informed stock trades. I've been successful in this area since 2013.
For these strategies, I've used various tools, such as developing a model to predict stock price changes. This model utilizes financial news, historical stock data, and social media data from Twitter. I leverage NLTK, a Python library, to analyze sentiment patterns within this data.
